In a strategic effort to enable Haifa's youth to achieve their potential, the Canadian Committee for the Haifa Foundation will launch its first annual "Hoops 4 Haifa" charity 3-on-3 basketball tournament to raise funds to provide a complete sports court for at-risk youth. This year we will target the El Ziso community in Haifa, Israel.

With the aim of improving the quality of life for the residents of Haifa and the North, the Canadian Committee for the Haifa Foundation has initiated a new "adopt a Reali scholar program" for children from the Ethiopian community. Respectful of Ethiopian cultures and values, the Reali Ethiopian scholar program provides immigrant children with the necessary academic and social tools for success in Israel. The proceeds from the Knesiyat Hasechel concert will go towards funding "Adopt a Reali Scholar program".
